Terms & Conditions
This is all the important (but boring) stuff you need to know. Please read through carefully as it covers everything you need to know. If you have any questions please contact me. This information is in addition to my regular T&Cs

Terms & Conditions
​In the following terms and conditions “the Photographer” shall mean Jodie Hope trading as ‘Jodie Hope Photography’. “The Client” shall be those persons responsible for booking the photography services.
It is agreed that the following terms set out the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of these terms shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing.
Prices
All standard wedding packages and additional goods specified on the booking form are supplied at the time of booking.
Booking form
The wedding photography contract form needs to be filled out no later than 72hrs from being sent.
Payments
A non-refundable booking fee of £150 will confirm your booking, as well as full acceptance of the terms and conditions as published on the photographer’s website and shown on the booking form. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the client’s chosen package when calculating the final balance due. Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the wedding day. Additional goods ordered must be paid for in full at the time of ordering.​
Cancellation of wedding
The booking fee is non refundable in any case. If the wedding is cancelled within 3 weeks of the wedding date, 50% of the package is payable to the photographer. ​​
Special requests / coverage
The client understands and accepts that the photographic coverage will be as the photographer’s professional expertise determines and that no one photograph will be deemed more important than another. Special requests are not binding instruction, although every effort is made to comply with the client’s wishes. Any special requests not noted on the questionnaire form must be in writing to the photographer.
Retouching
The photographer performs a standard amount of retouching to take the photographs to a quality which they considers to be appropriate. Retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing may be available to the Client as an option at extra cost.
Completion schedule
Final digital files will be sent within 2 weeks for pre wedding shoots and 4 weeks for wedding galleries.
Restrictions
The client understands that the photographer must follow all rules given to them by the person/s facilitating the wedding and are not held liable for failure to deliver should the photographer be told that they are not allowed to take photos during the ceremony or be stationed in one spot. It is the client’s responsibility to understand the rules ahead of time.

The photographer requests that other people do not take photographs during the formal photos on the wedding day.
​If this does occur, the photographer cannot be responsible for unusable shots due to distractions from other people’s cameras (i.e. eyes being closed / looking in other direction / flashes from different cameras) and other circumstances beyond the photographer’s control.

The photographer will not be responsible for photographic content eg people’s expressions, building and décor appearance, and any other content in the images.
Delivery / wedding box
The chosen selection of photos for your photobook needs to be made within 2 weeks of the photo delivery. Failure to do so, the photographer may refuse your photobook. Selection for prints is also within the same time frame. Delivery of the wedding box shall be made to the client's address and the client shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery, alternatively we can arrange for the client to pick goods up at our address.
Travel
Travel costs are payable by the client for any UK mainland weddings. This includes but not limited to; fuel, hotel, transport. Travel costs will be quoted at the time of booking, this charge is added onto the final cost. The final cost of the travel will be send to the clients at the time of booking the travel costs eg hotel.
Storage
Storage of images original digital images are kept on an active file for one months, after which time the raw images are stored in a secure location (access to these images is solely limited to the photographer). Raw image files are deleted after one month after the photographer has shown the client the final photographs. All images from your wedding are deleted 1 year after your wedding date, it is important you download and back up your photos within the first year of your marriage.
Complaints
In the extremely unlikely event of the Client needing to make a complaint, it should first be raised by the Client with the Photographer in writing within 30 days from the date of receipt of images.
